Heirloom Postcards

Americans are beginning to rediscover and reinvent a food culture that has been abused and forgotten for half of a century. People are learning to appreciate the variety and history heirloom vegetables have to offer in contrast to genetically modified corporate crops.

I asked Rebecca McClain to list her 9 favorite heirloom plants, along with some info about planting and saving their seeds, for this series of postcards. You could mail these postcards and let the USPS shred them to pieces but I think they would look great in a frame.
